Urgent Care in Newtown CT

Newtown CT was founded in 1705 and incorporated as a town in 1711. In the 1800s the town grew to 4000 residents and became a railroad center. The town population shrunk after that until 1930. It was here in Newtown that the game of Scrabble was developed by a local and some of the first gameboards were built here. After World War II, the town developed into a suburb of bordering Danbury.

Newtown today is a suburban town of 28,000 residents with a tight knit community, even more so in recent years.
